Team USA rookie tallies seven points in two games, scores hat trick
Team USA’s Joel Farabee earned Forward of the Week honors for the first time this season. Farabee had a fantastic weekend, tallying seven points including a hat trick and a pair of game-winning goals in Team USA’s sweep over Waterloo. CCM Hockey is the official equipment provider of the USHL.

Farabee tallied a goal and an assist, including the game-winning goal in Team USA’s 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Waterloo on Friday before scoring a natural hat trick and dishing out two more helpers in an 8-3 win over the Black Hawks on Saturday, giving the rookie seven points (4G, 3A) on the weekend. He has been outstanding in USHL competition recently, with 10 points (6G,4A) in his last five USHL games. Farabee has been a steady offensive force for Team USA all season, with 21 points (12G, 9A) in 24 games in his first USHL season. A native of Cicero, NY, Farabee is committed to Boston University and previously played for Selects Academy (USPHL).
