Toronto Jr. Canadiens’ penalty kill excelled, as the Junior Canadiens gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

The Junior Canadiens stifled Buffalo’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Jr. Canadiens could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Junior Canadiens registered zero goals on five power play opportunities. For Toronto Jr. Canadiens, David Zeppieri was ejected from the game. Buffalo’s Tucker Weppner stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Jr. Sabres incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
