Keiser named SUNYAC Rookie of the Week

POTSDAM, N.Y.祐UNY Potsdam men’s hockey player Austin Keiser (Dunwoody,
Ga./Boston Bulldogs) has been named the State University of New York
Athletic Conference’s Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28.

In his first collegiate start, the Keiser made 29 saves to earn a 4-3
victory in an overtime thriller against St. Michael’s on Friday night. The
goaltender stopped 15 shots in the third period alone to allow the Bears
to rally from a 3-1 deficit. The performance gives him a .906 save
percentage and a 2.87 goals-against-average.

Keiser and the Bears (2-0, 1-0 SUNYAC) take to the ice again on Saturday,
Nov. 3 when they host SUNYAC rival Plattsburgh at 7 p.m.
