Niagara freshman Chad Velltri made 25 saves to pick up his second collegiate shutout and Lancaster’s Zac Hermann scored his first collegiate goal on an empty net as the Purple Eagles defeated Robert Morris 5-0 Friday night. The Purps will host a AHA first round playoff series next week.
Freshman Keaton Mastrodonato scored two goals as Canisius broke a four-game winless skid with a 3-2 win over Mercyhurst.
