Izzy Friedman and Alyssa Piazza each had two goals to move Monsignor Martin to a 4-0 win over Williamsville. After a scoreless first period Friedman dropped the puck in at 40 seconds into the second period and Piazza followed up 3 minutes later. In the third it was Piazza with the goal fofllowed by Friedman with her second of the night. Isabella Battaglia held off the 19 shots by Williamsville. In goal for Williamsville, Elizabeth Timby, stopping 18 of 22.
Over at Hamburg Nike Frontier/LakeShore/Orchard Park continued on a winning streak with a 6-2 win over Hamburg/Eden/West Seneca. Brooke Becker is working her way toward the All-Time Scoring list as she dropped two in for FLOP, Adding to the scoring were Gabby Messing (1 g, 1a); Keegan Shanahan (1g, 1a); and Mary Kromer (2 g).
Scoring for HEWS were Olivia Wade and Katheryn O’Brien.
