CORTLAND, N.Y. – Oswego State senior men’s ice hockey forward Luke Moodie (Oakville, Ontario) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending November 18, 2012.

In Friday’s 5-4 comeback win over Buffalo State, Moodie assisted the Lakers’ second goal and scored the game-winner midway through the third period to keep Oswego State undefeated. He again scored the game-winning goal in Saturday’s 7-1 win over Fredonia. It was one of three goals for Moodie, who also added two assists in the runaway win. Moodie totaled seven points during the weekend, keeping him tied with linemate Paul Rodrigues for the national lead in points per game with 2.71.
