Marymead Child and Family Centre this week welcomes new Chief Executive Officer, Hilary Martin.
Ms Martin brings many years of valuable industry experience to the Canberra-based not-for-profit community child and family service. Working to preserve and support families, as well as care for children and young people, Marymead has been a part of the local community for 40 years.
Ms Martin comes to Marymead from Spiritus, one of the largest providers of community-based services in Queensland where she worked as the Group Manager Social Services.
“Ms Martin brings an impressive breadth of experience to Marymead and will bring a client-focused and committed approach to our organisation’s invaluable work in the Canberra community,” Chair of Marymead Board Louise Moran said.
“The welcome I have received during my short time in Canberra has been overwhelmingly positive and I am looking forward to working with the great team at Marymead, getting involved in the community, and working alongside funding bodies and other community service centres,” Ms Martin said.
