New Jersey Signs Jesper Bratt To Entry-Level Contract

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The New Jersey Devils announced today the club has signed forward Jesper Bratt to a three-year, entry-level contract. Bratt was New Jersey’s eighth choice (sixth round), and 162nd overall selection, in the 2016 NHL Draft.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound winger spent the last four seasons in Sweden with the AIK organization. In 2016-17, Bratt skated in 46 games with AIK’s Allsvenskan league club, scoring a career-high 22 points (six goals, 16 assists) along with six penalty minutes. The 18-year-old also contributed one goal and one assist in eight post-season qualification games for the club.
