Rochester Hockey Academy LLC dba Next Level Strength & Conditioning is rising to the challenge and taking part in the global campaign, ‘Movember’.

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the United States and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.

Co-owners Rory Fitzpatrick and Nate VanKouwenberg will hold their 1st Annual Movember Event on November 23rd beginning at 1pm at their facility at 80 Lyndon Road in Fairport

(attached to Thomas Creek Ice Arena).

Activities include a “ROOTS” beginner-level general fitness class as well as a “BRO SESH” intermediate/advanced fitness partner challenge, both free of charge (although donations are encouraged). Prizes, including Next Level t-shirts, general fitness packages and Rochester Amerks tickets will be given away at this event. Buffalo Sabres tickets will be raffled off as well. All monies collected will be donated to the Movember Foundation, who “focus on awareness and education, living with and beyond cancer, and research to achieve their vision of an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health”.

Next Level is asking the community to join them in supporting Movember. To participate in our scheduled events and/or to make a donation to Next Level’s Movember Team visit http://us.movember.com/team/967697.

Any and all press exposure is highly suggested and greatly appreciated; Movember is an honorable organization whose charitable events gain popularity yearly.
