New York, NY – The NWHL (National Women’s Hockey League) announced today the complete regular season schedule for its 2015-16 inaugural season. The NWHL season will officially begin on Sunday, October 11, 2015 when the Connecticut Whale hosts the New York Riveters at Chelsea Piers Connecticut at 1:30 p.m. ET and the Buffalo Beauts host their season home opener against the Boston Pride at HarborCenter at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Each NWHL team will host nine home games and play nine away games during the regular season. Every team will face each other six times in the regular season and meet again in the playoffs in March 2016.
Additionally, there will be an All-Star Game on January 24th, 2016 hosted by Buffalo at HarborCenter. The NWHL regular season will conclude on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
