Lindsay Berman has been named an assistant coach with the Boston Pride. Berman was a practice player with the Pride last season, and played three games with the Connecticut Whale in 2015-16 (a broken leg sidelined her for most of the season). A standout defender at Northeastern from 2006-2010 and the top assistant coach at Brown in 2014-15, Berman is also the head coach at UMASS Boston.

Joining Berman and head coach Thomas Poeck at the Pride is new goaltending coach Steve Silverthorn, a former goalie at Colgate and in the professional ranks – including the AHL, ECHL and German Bundesliga. Silverthorn was an assistant coach the last two seasons at Bentley.

With Chad Wiseman returning as head coach of the Riveters, Sis Paulsen has signed a contract to return for her second season as assistant coach under Wiseman. Paulsen played at Wisconsin from 1999 to 2003 and is a Level 4 graduate of USA Hockey’s Coaching Education Program.

In Buffalo, joining returning co-head coaches Ric Seiling and Craig Muni to round out an all-NHL staff with the Beauts is former Sabre Tom Draper, who will serve as goaltending consultant. After playing college hockey at Vermont, Draper had a successful goaltending career in the pros in Europe and in North America – including stints with the Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and New York Islanders.
