The New York State Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Championships will be held February 10 and 11 at the State University of New York at Canton Ice Arena.
Determination of who will play begins in Western New York on Thursday with #3 seed Clarence/Amherst/SweetHome taking on the #6 seed, to be determined, at 4 p.m. and #4 Kenmore/Grand Island taking on #5 at Northtowns arena. #1 and 2, Williamsville and Frontier/Lakeshore/Orchard Park have byes.
Semi-Finals will be held February 6 at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and finals will be February 8 at 8 p.m. All games are at the Northtowns Center, Amherst.
At the State Championship, Section X will play Section III at 6 p.m. and Section VI will play Section VII at 8 p.m. The Championship wil be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 11.
