NYHOL headed out to Cornerstone Arena Friday afternoon to catch a couple games of the 2022 NYSAHA State Tournament.
It was a 9-2 victory for the Malone Minor 46ers in the Tier II 12U division with Ava Boyea scoring 4 goals and Emma Clark and Adleigh Norman, each with 2.
The Rochester Edge beat the Canton Pee Wees in the Tier II 12 U division. It took an overtime to do it. Chole Waldo scored the game winner at 4:20 of overtime.
Sophia Prentice had a hattrick for the Malone team in the Tier II 16U category helping the team to a 6-0 shutout over the Power Bruins.
In the fourth game NYHOL attended it was the Lady Islanders with a 10-1 victory over the Southtown Stars. Abigaile Richardson and Emma Sherwood each had a hattrick in the game to help with that victory. Kayla Pelc had the only goal for Southtown.

Tier II 19U A
Reilly Lamberg scored the game winning goal in a 5-4 victory for Valley Eagles over Canton Pee Wee.
Hometown Hosts Amherst Knights beat Twin Rinks at Eisenhower 6-1. Molly Martin had three goals for the hattrick, including the game-winner.
Canton Pee Wee Beat the Amherst Knights 5-4 when Amanda Vaugn scored at 1:24 into overtime. Ella Oakes scored unassisted at 1:35 of the third to tie the game, sending it into overtime.
A 5-0 shutout victory for the Valley Eagles over Twin Rinks at Eisenhower. Erin Nilan faced 45 SOG for the Eagles.
Tier II 19U B
The Adirondack Northstars beat the Hamburg Hawks 3-1. Kathryn O’Brien scored the unassisted goal and only goal for Hamburg.
The Rochester Edge beat the Troy/Albany Ice Cats 4-3 with Jillian Jenneault scoring the game-winning goal.
Julia Amodo had the game-winner at 4:07 of the third period for a Adirondack Northstars 5-3 victory over the Rochester Edge.
Hamburg Hawks Summer Cole’s 14:45 goal of the second period was the only one needed to beat the Troy/Albany Ice Cats 1-0. She was assisted by Grace Miller and Hailey Keppner.
Tier II 16U A
Zoe Rosenberg had five goals for the NYC Cyclones in their 10-1 victory over the Amherst Knights. Kate Richter scored Amherst’s only goal, unassisted at 4:49 of the third period.
The Adirondack Northstars beat the CNY Bobcats 7-0 with Jillian Willis and Bayley Duffy each scoring two goals.
Rochester Youth beat Midstate Syracuse Nationals 4-0.
Mia Provenzo and teresa Morris scored the goals in a 2-1 victory for the Buffalo Bisons over the Rome Grizzlies.
With two goals Drew Kopoe helped the Valley Eagles to a 7-1 victory over Monroe County.
Zoe Rosenberg had a hattrick in the 7-0 victory for the NYC Cyclones over the CNY Bobcats.
Jilian White had 8 goals for the Adirondack Northstars in a 14-1 victory over the Amherst Knights. Baley Duffy had 3. Alexander Hennessy scored the lone goal for Amherst, assisted by Madeline Duff.
Tier II 16U B
Emma Gennuso had the game winner for the Power City Bruins in a 4-1 victory over the Lady Islanders. Reese Honadle had the assist on that goal.
With four goals, Sophia Prentice led the Malone Minor 46ers to a 10-0 shutout victory over the Southtown Stars.
Tier II 14U A
Canton Pee Wee 13-1 over Lysander Lightning in the first game of the 2022 tournament at Dwyer Arena on the Niagara University Campus. Madelynn Southwick had five goals for Canton.
The Mamoroneck Lady Tigers skated to a 1-1 Tie with the Troy/Albany Ice Cats sending the game into overtime. and then a shootout for the win.
Canton Pee Wee took a 3-0 shutout from the Troy/Albany Ice Cats.
Parker Calardo had a hattrick in a 9-2 Mamaroneck Lady Tigers victory over the Lysander Lightning.
The Valley Eagles 14UA team upset the Midstate Syracuse Nationals 14UB team 3-1.
The neighborning Buffalo Bisons and Amherst Knights faced off at Northtowns with the Host Knights coming away with a 14-0 shutout victory. Goalie Avery Hall had the win facing onlly 6 sog with Bison’s goaltender Ella Celej facing 81 shots. The goals by Amherst were shared by several players.
The Rochester Jr. Americans beat the Buffalo Regals 4-2.
Tier II 14U B
The Brewster Lady Bulldogs and Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles skated to a 2-2 tie after regulation when Alyssa Filmer tied the game at 4:13 of the third for the Lady Bulldogs. It was a scoreless overtime and went to a shootout with Filmer scoring the winning goal.
Another game headed into overtime with the Twin Rinks at Eisenhower Team and the Malone Minor f46ers. It was 2-2 at the end of regulation and then Amaya Abellard scored the winning goal, unassised 5 seconds into overtime. It was a 3-2 victory for Malone.
Two goals each from Victoria Concepcion and Lindsay Pontiello, and another from Katherine Anderson send the Brewster Lady Bulldogs to a 5-0 victory over the Twin Rinks at Eisenhower team.
Anna Moneth and Amaya Abellard scored 2 goals apiece in a 6-2 victory for Malone Minor 46ers over the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles. Danielle Cottrell and Maddie Jagow scored the only goals for the NJPE.
Tier II 12U A
The Brewster Lady Bulldogs took a 4-3 victory over host Amherst Knights. Emileyrose Murphy had 2 goals and Aisling Stathos scored the winning goal, unassisted, at 9:50 of the third period.
Karissa Chapkosky had all four goals in a 4-0 shutout for Clifton Park over the Binghamnton Blizzard Storm.
Rori Roche scored at 1:05 of the third period for the Valley Eagles after the Rochester Jr. Americans and the Eagles skated to a 0-0 tie after two periods. 1-0 Valley Eagles.
Hometown rivals the Buffalo Regals and Buffalo Bisons took to the ice at Cornerstone and the Bisons took the game in a 7-0 shutout. Hayden Printz had three goals in the game.
It was Clifton Park 4; Amherst Knights 1.
The Binghamton Blizzard Storm beat the Brewster Lady Bulldogs 3-1.
With the game-winning goal at 5:20 of the second period, Jorryn Ronan helped Valley Eagles defeat the Buffalo Bisons 5-3.
Isabella Crescimann scored the game-winner at 1:51 of the third period, unassisted, for a Rochester Jr. Americans 3-2 victory over MIdstate Syracuse Nationals.
Tier II 12U B
Lux Froman had the game-winning goal in the third for a 2-0 victory for the Rochester Edge over the Malone Minor 46ers
With 6 goals Adrianna Lesperance led the Canton Pee Wee team to a 10-0 shutout over the Rome Grizzlies.
