The final game of the day and another with little scoring but lots of action.
The first period ended 0-0 with a host of six penalities and 2 shots-on-goal for Webster and 8 SOG for Starpoint.
Starpoint opened the scoring in the second period at 14:21 on an unassisted goal by Alec Kirk. Second closes out a 1-0 in favor of the Spartans.
Changing things up Webster opens the scoring at 6:24 of the third and Sam Nesbitt ties the game at 1-1. With 48 seconds left Starpoint’s Kirk wins the game scoring on the power-play, assisted by Captain Bobby Taylor.
Webster’s Jackson Gruttadaria stopped 27 of 29 shots and Starpoint’s Rich Gareau stopped 10/11.
