The Syracuse University ice hockey team will host Long Island University on Friday, February 19 (7 pm) and Saturday, February 20 (2 pm). Both games will be streamed live on Cuse.com. It will be the first meetings between the Orange and Long Island.
Syracuse (6-8-1 overall, 6-6-1 College Hockey America) enters the LIU series on a three-game win streak, having swept a three-game series at Lindenwood this past weekend. Senior Jessica DiGirolamo tallied six points (five goals and one assist) led the Orange, while junior Lauren Bellefontaine scored two goals and had five assists, junior Abby Moloughney recorded six assists and sophomore Mae Batherson scored two goals and had one assist. Senior goalie Allison Small recorded 65 saves in the three wins, increasing her career total to 1,033. She is the sixth Syracuse goalie to record 1,000 career saves.
