POTSDAM, N.Y.-SUNY Potsdam women’s hockey player Jordan Ott (Hilton, N.Y./Rochester Edge) has been named Honorable Mention All-ECAC West. It is the third straight year the junior has been honored, with appearances on the second team in each of the last two seasons.
Ott led the Bears in scoring again this year with 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points. The forward now has 47 goals, the most in program history. She also has the third most assists all-time with 37 and is ranked third for the Bears in scoring with 84 points. Ott needs just two points to pass Breanna Roy ’12 for second place on the program scoring list and 10 to top program scoring leader Annmarie Lewis ’12.
Ott is also a two-time first team All-SUNYAC shortstop with the SUNY Potsdam softball team. She’ll head to Florida next week as the Bears kick off their 2016 campaign on March 6, with 12 games in Clermont.
