ROCHESTER, NY — National sports performance leader, Parisi Speed School, has opened its new location at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex, which is located on the campus of Monroe Community College. This is the second location for Parisi Rochester group, with its first gym opening in Fairport in 2013.
A new 2,000 square foot space was recently remodeled in the upper lobby of the Iceplex, which is now home to the nationally acclaimed training company.
Parisi Speed School’s scientifically based learning progressions and progressive methods deliver unparalleled training to athletes from 7 years of age to the professional level.
Based on curriculum designed by Bill Parisi and the Parisi team, The Parisi Speed School offers both individual and team training focused on increasing speed, agility, and strength while also decreasing the risk of injury. The school offers Jump Start, Total Performance and Peak programs to accommodate every level of athlete.
Parisi Rochester owner, Billy Sauer, is a Rochester native who attended McQuaid Jesuit High School and won a Section 5 title in 2004. After high school, Billy attended the University of Michigan where he played hockey and majored in Kinesiology. At U of M he compiled a 71-30-8 record as a starting goaltender and was also drafted into the NHL by the Colorado Avalanche in the 7th round. After his college career, he went on to play three professional seasons between the AHL and ECHL.
