St. Lawrence University junior forward Kaden Pickering was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, the conference office announced this afternoon.

Pickering led the league with three goals and tied for the league lead with five points last week. He scored two goals and added an assist in a 4-3 win over Colgate on Saturday, then added another goal against the Raiders the following day. He also had an assist in a game against Colgate on Thursday, as well.

Pickering is now tied for the team lead with four goals on the season, and is tied for second on the Saints’ roster with eight points.

The Saints, now 4-4-2 overall and in ECAC Hockey play, are just two points out of first place in the conference standings. St. Lawrence’s next scheduled games will take place February 5-6 at Quinnipiac.
