CORTLAND, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State men’s ice hockey freshman Brady Pfaff (South Riding, Va./Islanders Hockey Club) was chosen as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday Nov. 27. This is Pfaff’s initial career weekly accolade.
Pfaff logged four points on one goal and three assists and had a +1 rating as No. 11 Plattsburgh State went 1-1 in this year’s PrimeLink Great Northern ShootOut. Pfaff provided the primary assists on a pair of second-period power-play goals in Friday’s 4-3 loss to Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) College before netting his first collegiate goal, along with an assist, in Saturday’s 5-2 consolation-game victory against Middlebury College. Despite playing just three of the team’s seven games so far, he currently sits second among Cardinal rookies with four points.
