COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 11th anniversary of the Labatt Blue/USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships will take place Friday though Sunday (Feb. 5-7) on Dollar Lake in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
“We’re excited to be returning to Dollar Lake this year and we wish all of the teams the best of luck this weekend,” said Ashley Bevan, senior director of adult hockey for USA Hockey. “This is a special event and a really fun time with tremendous camaraderie among all of the participants.”
As part of the celebration, this year’s event will include the First Annual USA Hockey Foundation Cornhole Tournament on Thursday (Feb. 4) night during registration at the Eagle River Derby Track and a special appearance by two-time (1998, 2002) Olympian Shelley Looney at Saturday (Feb. 6) evening’s reception.

Notes: The 2016 Labatt Blue/USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships will include 280 teams and nearly 2,000 players. Last year’s event was slated to be played at Dollar Lake in Eagle River, however, due to player safety concerns, had to be shifted to the Eagle River Derby Track.
