Schnepp added another tally on Reed’s second goal, along with freshman Danielle Haasbeek (Grand Forks, ND/Balmoral Hall), who registered her first career point on the play. Reed’s third score came on the powerplay at 9:10 of the second as she connected with Patterson for her seventh goal of the season.

The Lakers were able to get one back just 20 seconds later as Ashley Lyman netted her second of the year, off assists from Lydia Cosgrove and Alli Ullrich.

Reed capped off the scoring with an empty netter with just 25 seconds remaining to seal the victory. Freshman Kayla Dion (Colchester, VT/Boston Shamrocks ) added her fourth assist on the insurance goal.
