In a losing effort, Lockport was sparked by Ryan Logar, who finished with two goals and one assist. Logar scored the first of his two goals at 15:39 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Roc City. Frank II Vecchio provided the assist. Roc City put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lockport to score on any of its three power plays. Roc City’s offense rang up 34 shots on Lockport’s net. Team’s forwards weren’t the only contributers offensively, and the team’s defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Roc City additionally got points from Aidan Conolly, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Brandon Corey, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Sam Cammilleri, who also registered one goal and one assist. Cameron Clark also scored for Roc City. More assists for Roc City came via Joseph Gardner and Jared Tam-Grimshaw, who each chipped in one.

Lockport’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Roc City power plays. Lockport kept Roc City’s goalie busy throughout the game, and Justin Nevinger made 31 saves on 35 shots. Lockport could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

Lockport also got points from Friol, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Lockport were Christopher Gasiewicz, who had three and Gibson Stuart and Jordan Pocobello, who contributed one each.

Roc City incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Sal Stalteri made 29 saves for Lockport on 34 shots. Lockport ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Austin Kasperek was ejected from the game.
