While the White All-Star squad lost 6-4 to the Blue team in Game 1 of the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League All-Star Game, all six Maksymum Stars U16 AAA All-Stars on the team made positive contributions on Sunday.
Matt Buchbinder lead the way with the opening goal for the White team, and assisted on their second. Chris Peters followed with two goals of his own, with Ritchie Francis picking up an assist. Maksymum players had a hand in all four goals scored by the White team.
Monty Cunningham started in goal for the White team and stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced. Austin Pieniaszek had four shots on goal and Matt Damelio added several end-to-end rushes for the White squad.
The two teams go to battle again today in Hookset, New Hampshire. The White team is coached by Maksymum Stars coach Dave Maksymiu.
