BUFFALO, N.Y. (January 4, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team is holding a game-worn jersey auction that is currently running on auction.NHL.com until Monday, Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The jerseys available for bidding include set one of the game-worn jerseys from the 2015-16 season, highlighted by newcomers Jack Eichel and Ryan O’Reilly. Included in the set will be Eichel’s first jersey worn in the NHL with a patch included on the jersey to commemorate his first NHL game.
