TRAINING CAMP SET TO OPEN SEPT. 11
Practice sessions will be open to the public beginning Sept. 12


BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 10, 2013) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will open its training camp on Wednesday, Sept. 11, when veteran players are expected to report for testing and physicals. Beginning Thursday, Sept. 12, the team’s practice sessions at First Niagara Center will be open to the public, with practices being broken down into three sessions. In addition to the practice sessions, there will be daily scrimmages, alternating between two of the three practice groups, which will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, will be an abbreviated practice schedule and an earlier scrimmage time, from 9:15 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
The Sabres will then open their preseason schedule of games on Sunday, Sept. 15 against the Canadiens in Montreal at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 11
Players report for testing and physicals.
**Closed to public. Media may attend for select player availability, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the press conference room

Session One: 8:45-9:45
Session Two: 10-10:45
Scrimmage: 11:15-12:00
Session Three: 12:15-1:00
Friday, Sept. 13
Session One: 7:45-8:45
Scrimmage: 9:15-10:30
Saturday, Sept. 14
Session One: 8:45-9:45
Session Two: 10-10:45
Scrimmage: 11:15-12:00
Session Three: 12:15-1:00
Sunday, Sept. 15
Pre-game skate: 10:30 a.m. (First Niagara Center)
Game at Montreal Canadiens: 7 p.m.
