Junior goalie Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk/Buffalo Bisons) registered 32 saves.

Cortland built a 3-0 lead after the first period. Kelley scored on the power play at 8:49 right in front to open the scoring. Cummings made it a 2-0 score with a shot from the right point through traffic at 14:41. Field pushed the lead to 3-0 when she poked in a loose puck at 17:52.

The Bengals netted the only two goals of the second period to pull to within 3-2. Lazore scored on a loose puck in front on the power play at 7:18, and Stetson buried a wrist shot from the right side in close at 9:36.

Schnorr tallied her record-setting goal just 54 seconds into the third period when she one-timed a shot past Gawronskioff a pass from Kelley.
