NewEdge Hockey Development Academy (A note about Shane from Rob) –
Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of working with Shane Prince one on one and in small pro groups. With close to a hundred hours on the ice with Prince, I learned a lot more about the guy than just his incredible skating ability and his awesome skill.
Shane’s work ethic is unlike any player I have trained – every rep of every drill matters to him and he never gets caught in drill mode. When Shane is training, he is “playing hockey” and approaches his reps like they are game situations.
Seeing Prince have success is awesome but not surprising! Instilling these habits in the young players that we are privileged to work with is paramount. |
