New York, NY— The National Women’s Hockey League (www.nwhl.co) today announced that Buffalo Beauts forward Devon Skeats has been named Player of the Week.
With Buffalo trailing 1-0 entering the third period of Sunday’s tilt in New York, Skeats scored twice during a five minute span, including the game-winner at the 12:00 mark. She had six shots on goal throughout the contest.
The Beauts look for a second straight win on Saturday night against the Boston Pride at the Bright-Landry Center. Tickets can be purchased at www.nwhl.co/buy-tickets.
