Paddy Pallin Adventure Race 28 November 2009
Warm days are coming back in Canberra: time to head outside and make the most of what the Capital city has to offer, besides museums! For Canberrans, it’s a great opportunity to come and enjoy their local playground with a twist: they are sure to discover some places through a different light, running, paddling and riding around with their team. For would-be participants who are not from the area, this is a chance to come down with colleagues, mates or family and make a weekend out of it. There are options for all, so bring the family and experience the great hands-on museums, exhibitions and cultural attractions or bring your mates and get stuck into the famed Canberra night life! Oh, and did we mention World Class mountain biking, flat water paddling and picturesque bush land to explore?!
The first event in the ACT on Saturday 27 November 2010 will be based in the heart of the city and combines some of the best mixes of terrain that only Canberra can offer. Rumour has it that this particular course is set to test even the best navigators, so better brush up on those navigation skills! AROC Sport is offering participants basic orienteering training session, either at the Paddy Pallin Gear & Info Night on 3 November or at the pre-event Novice Briefing on 26 November.

Entries are currently open online and close November 22nd, with early bird fees available for entries made before November 12th.
Below are the 2011 dates for the Series to allow those interested to plan the rest of their adventure racing season now:
Saturday February 12, 2011 – Canberra, ACT
Saturday March 12, 2011 – Central Coast, NSW
