REISTERSTOWN, Md.— Stevenson scored the game’s final three goals, including an empty-netter, to seal a 4-1 victory over visiting Buffalo State this evening in a non-conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Stevenson opened the scoring less than four minutes into the game, but the Bengals bounced back later in the opening period with Michael Anthony Guerrera’s (Montreal, QC/OHA) fifth goal of the season on the power play.
Reid Bibb (Gaithersburg, MD/Gaithersburg) and Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) were credited with the assists.
The Mustangs reclaimed the lead with what would prove to be the game-winner on a shorthanded tally just 57 seconds into the second frame.
Stevenson added two more goals in the third period, including an empty-netter in the final minute to seal the win.
Ian Sylves (Sloan, NY/JFK) finished with 16 saves in the loss as Buffalo State recorded a 24-20 advantage in shots on goal.
FOR THE FOES
Dominic Brenza, Colton McMenamin, Jivan Sidhu and Christian Ripley all scored for Stevenson.
Jacob Caffrey finished with 23 saves for the win.
