The Marathon Project is searching for Indigenous men and women aged between 18 and 30 who want a once in a lifetime experience to run in the worlds most famous race – The New York Marathon.
The project is about to embark on a National Tour, searching for dedicated and fit young men and women to be a part of the 2011 team.
Canberra Try Outs are being held at the AIS track in Bruce on Monday, 11th April and participants will run a 5km (men) and 3km (women) time trial. Registraton for men is at 08:30 and women at 12:30. Bring your running gear, a drink bottle and your friends who also wish to be a part.
