New York, N.Y. – The NWHL Foundation, which was created to promote the growth of women’s hockey, has announced it will be hosting a series of training camps in Canada as part of its Training Camp Series.
The Canadian Training Camp Series is by invite only and has been organized by the NWHL Foundation to further the mission to provide opportunities for women to play hockey, as well as prepare players for the launch of the NWHL this fall. Players who have graduated from college may register for free at NWHL.co starting on June 12, and registration for the camps will close on July 3.
Camps will take place from July 6th to July 9th in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Windsor.

Montreal Camp

The NWHL Foundation also recently hosted a series of summer training camps for the Founding Four teams in New York, Boston, Buffalo and Connecticut. Additionally, they are hosting its first international camp July 23 to 27, 2015 in Wilmington and Marlboro, Mass. The league is expecting players from Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Japan.
