Two NYS Women Score Goals In Quinnipiac’s Exhibition Victory

HAMDEN, Connecticut – (Pictured Is Abby Cleary) – Nationally-ranked No. 4 Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey rolled to a 6-1 exhibition win against Guelph behind a two-goal, one-assist showing from sophomore Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center.

Samoskevich led the Bobcats attack that saw five different players score in the exhibition win. TT Cianfarano (Oswego, New York) and Meghan Tuner (Bedford, New Hampshire) had a goal and an assist each while Abby Cleary (Buffalo, New York) and Taryn Baumgardt (Innisfail, Alberta) also scored for the Bobcats. MacKenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina), Danielle Marmer (Dorset, Vermont), Kenzie Prater (Hudson, Wisconsin) and Kati Tabin (Winnipeg, Manitoba) all had assists.
