BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Sabres forward Tyler Ennis today announced the debut of “Enzo Sauce,” a brand of dipping sauce created by Ennis himself. The sauce, which features hot sauce and ranch dressing as its main ingredients, is now available at Tops Friendly Markets and Wegmans stores in the Western New York region.
“I originally created ‘Enzo Sauce’ to spice things up and break the monotony of my pre-game meals,” Ennis said. “Before long, teammates, friends and neighbors were asking for more sauce, so I decided it was time to make it official.”
Autographed jars of “Enzo Sauce” are available online at www.enzosauce.com and at Dave & Adam’s Card World, located at 8075 Sheridan Dr. in Williamsville, New York. Fans attending the team’s game on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. against the St. Louis Blues will also have a chance to purchase autographed jars in the 100 Level pavilion before and during the game while supplies last.
Ennis will be visiting two local stores within the next month to promote the sauce, sign autographs and meet with fans:
• Wegmans at 8270 Transit Rd. in Williamsville on Friday, Feb. 17 from 6 to 7:15 p.m.
• Tops Friendly Markets at 4777 Transit Rd. in Depew on Friday, March 3 from 6 to 7:15 p.m.
“Besides having a great taste and serving as a topping for just about everything, the best part about the sauce is that the money raised will help great organizations,” Ennis said.
A portion of the proceeds from all sales will benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Matt Cook Foundation, an organization established in 2010 with a mandate to make life a little more normal for young adults as they fight cancer.
Enzo Sauce is manufactured and distributed locally by Fruit Fresh Up, Inc. on Walden Avenue in Depew.
