My Why Tour Resumes Friday in St. Louis

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo.   Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho) netted Team USA’s lone goal to force overtime but it wasn’t enough as the U.S. Women’s National Team was defeated by Canada, 2-1, in overtime here in the fifth matchup of the My Why Tour, presented by Toyota.

“It’s always tough on the losing side but I thought it was a great game and a great display of what we’re competing for,” said Joel Johnson (White Bear Lake, Minn.), head coach of the 2021-22 U.S. Women’s National Team. “When both of these teams play, they really bring out the best of each other and that’s a key component to what we’re preparing for.”
