The top 3 teams in each division qualify for playoffs (3at2, winner at 1 the same weekend). From there 4 teams advance to Rochester for the final four (seeding based on ACHA rankings for tournament). The league will send at least (1) team to regionals in Albany.
West:
ECC and Fredonia are both 7-1. Fredonia beat ECC 8-4 earlier this year. They meet again 2/9 with the winner likely to be #1 seed. The #2 seed will likely host UB. UB (5-4) is likely to be #3 seed as only Gannon University can catch them.
Fingerlakes:
St Bonaventure (7-1) has secured the #1 seed. Their only loss was to Brockport (4-2) as Brockport and Geneseo (4-2) are destined to face each other in round one.
Central:
Binghamton (5-0) pretty much has #1 secured. Defending champion Hamilton (4-2) lost both meetings to Binghamton so BU would need to lose out to drop. The #3 seed remains open as LeMoyne (2-3) is currently ahead of Syracuse and Onondaga Community College.
East:
Both Clarkson and Union were undefeated heading into last weekend’s Clarkson 6-5 win. They meet again on 1/26. The #2 seed will likely host Albany who has played both teams extremely tough so far (2 shootout and (1) one goal losses so far)
