KRAVAŘE, Czech Republic – Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) recorded a hat trick and registered two assists for the U.S. National Under-18 Team in its 5-2 victory against the Czech Republic in its second matchup of the Under-18 Five Nations Tournament at Buly Arena.
Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis.) and Trevor Zegras (Bedford, N.Y.) also recorded goals for Team USA in the victory.
Team USA goaltender Cameron Rowe (Wilmette, Ill.) made 15 saves to earn his first international victory of the season.
Team USA will face Switzerland Friday (Nov. 9) at 9 a.m. ET in its third matchup of the tournament.
