COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Heading into the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship, the U.S. Women’s National Team will take part in a pre-tournament camp at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, Michigan, March 22-28. This will include an exhibition game against Finland on March 25 at 3 p.m. ET.

The U.S. Women’s National Team will transition to USA Hockey Arena and begin practicing in Plymouth, Michigan, on March 29 before opening the IIHF Women’s World Championship against rival Canada on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The U.S. is the defending champion and has won six of the last seven world championships (2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016).

Reagan Carey (Colorado Springs, Colo.), USA Hockey’s director of women’s hockey, is the general manager of the 2017 U.S. Women’s National Team and will oversee the camp.
