Domenick Fensore dished out three assists on Wednesday against Central Illinois, scored his fifth goal of the season and added another assistS on Saturday in Madison and recorded his fifth helper of the weekend on Saturday against the Capitols. With his performance last week, the Boston University commit extended his point streak to seven games, with 10 points (3G, 7A) in those contests dating back to Jan. 26. On the season, he has recorded 14 points (5G, 9A) in 17 USHL games.
His five goals led all Team USA defensemen, his 14 points rank second and his nine assists are good for third among NTDP blueliners. Fensore was listed as an C-rated skater on both the NHL Central Scouting Preliminary and Updated Players to Watch List, and was then ranked 89th among North American skaters on the NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings. He is in the midst of his second USHL season and is coming off a year in which he recorded 16 points (1G, 15A) in 35 games to help Team USA to the Clark Cup Playoffs, where he recorded an assist in eight postseason contests and help Team USA advance all the way to the Eastern Conference Final.
Fensore is a native of Thornwood, NY and previously played for the P.A.L Junior Islanders.
