UTICA, NY- Sophomore Jayson Dobay (Weymouth, MA/Youngstown Phantoms (USHL)) of the Utica College men’s hockey team was named the UCHC Player of the Week.
Dobay exploded for seven points in a pair of wins for the Pioneers. On Friday, he had four assists as the Pioneers downed Lebanon Valley 7-0. He followed that up with a goal and two assists in UC’s 7-0 win over Arcadia on Saturday. On the season, Dobay has 18 points (two goals, 16 assists) in 17 games.
The nationally ranked No. 3 Pioneers return home this weekend to host a pair of UCHC conference games.
