If you haven’t heard, the Buffalo Stampede are the newest Junior A hockey team in the Greater Buffalo area and will call the Cornerstone CFCU Ice Arena home for the 2021-22 season. As members of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), the Stampede will be made up of 16-20 year old hockey players from both the Western New York area as well as across the country (and sometimes the world).
As part of the team’s mission to prepare their players for future success in hockey and in life, it is their policy that all out-of-town players be placed with a host (“Billet”) family during the season. With that in mind, the team is looking for a few great families in the Buffalo area to host a player this upcoming season, and give them a stable and supportive family away from home.
