Williams Tabbed As UCHC Goalie of the Week

William Smith College sophomore Olivia Williams was tabbed the United Collegiate Hockey Conference Goalie of the Week by the conference office today.

Williams was 2-0-0 in goal against Stevenson this past weekend. She stopped 52 of the 54 shots she faced for a .964 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average. On Friday, she made 32 saves in a 6-1 victory over the Mustangs. The next night, she stopped 20 shots in a 5-1 win. Williams is 4-0-0 on the season with a .932 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average.

The Herons will head out on the road for a pair of UCHC contests this week at Lebanon Valley. The location of both Saturday and Sunday’s games has changed due to issues at the Dutchmen’s home rink, Hershey Park Arena. On Saturday, Nov. 17, the teams will play at Twin Ponds East at 3 p.m. in Harrisburg, Pa. The next day the teams will pay at The GIANT Center, the home of the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears, at 2 p.m.

Lebanon Valley will enter the weekend with a 2-4-0 overall record and a 1-3-0 mark in conference play. Chloe Glass leads the Dutchmen with three goals, two assists and five points. Jill Moffatt has played a majority of the minutes in goal for Lebanon Valley. She has a .945 save percentage and a 3.10 GAA.
